off to socal tomorrow for jen & jerry's wedding!

this is probably not the best friday i could have picked to take a day off - work is just insane right now. i had 8 meetings for a total of 7.5 hours yesterday - i even ditched one to try to get some stuff done at my desk, only to get called into a different one at the same time. had to work all last night, i had PT right after work today, and then had to practice with walter & bob for the wedding after that, and now i am home, still doing work. on top of that, will definitely need to find sometime this weekend to bust out the laptop and get some more done. eek!

but i can't wait to see reni & family saturday morning, or to see jen & jerry finally tie the knot. i was there to see the whole hook-up. even though byron was jerry's roommate and felt "used," don't forget i lived in central park at that same time and saw it all happen too! everytime i was at their place (and i was there a lot, because a) i lived 50 ft away from them, b) i served on core for fnl with byron that year, and c) i lived 50 ft away from them) jen was there, "using byron's computer." hehehe. that was a fun year at central park - i do miss living there and in mountain view in general. and now all three of those roommates are (or will be in two days) married. jerry finally has a picture to add on the tv with ted's and byron's. :)

ok, wish us luck in the traffic-y, smog-infested area known as socal. even though i will be taking my car down, at least i won't be driving. this is where my broken knee is useful! :)

congrats to sherry & brian! one couple gets married, another gets engaged. the cycle never ends!
