congrats to the taos!

congrats to bentao & bonita, and cheers to the whole team for a super-fun wedding weekend.

highlights included:
-seeing tammy tao work the leather pants at the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner
-sitting next to le-o ta-o at the rehearsal dinner and having him tell me he's the "original cowboy"
-the wedding favors. obviously bentao's doing. awesome. major props to bonita on that one too.
-watching leo try to freak his wife and copy other people's dancing. bentao's parents were on the dance floor till the music stopped. impressive.
-even though we all live in the bay area (with exception to bentao), hanging out with college friends the whole weekend. sharing a suite with al, miggs and g the first night. g & i thinking we slept in boy sheets the second night (uh, don't ask. and in fact, i wish i didn't ask.) too much fun.
-eating the biggest pancake i've ever seen in my life
-orange bang at JV's
-having the privilege of playing piano for their ceremony
-the most hilarious vows i've ever seen. besides the fact that bentao couldn't remember anything of what he was supposed to say. bentao: i promise to give you all my possesions... except my comic books. bonita: i promise to give you ALLLLLL my possessions.
-seeing bentao & bonita tie the knot. bentao got one quality girl. hooray for the newly married couple!

by the way, san diego really doesn't know how to deal with rain. it was barely sprinkling, and the whole airport turns to chaos. our flight was supposed to take off at 12:40 and land in SJ at 2pm. we board the plane as normal, maybe around 12:20ish. we settle in, and i fall asleep. i wake up at 2pm, and we are on the ground... except we were still in SD. the "rain" caused some huge backup on the runway. but we got home safely, soundly, and exhausted (our 7:30am flight on Friday really did me in for the whole weekend.)
