wii-ful of fun

i finally got the wii, thanks to eric who bought ten of them. i think the most fun we had this weekend was making miis for everyone. some of them look pretty realistic! (like jean's. or jono's. except when he made himself balding.) i think i got it mostly to play with people when they come over, and less for me to play by myself, which i already found gets pretty boring. it's more of a party console anyway.

my knee has progressively gotten more painful to deal with. the scar tissue problem in the front outside of the knee - the only problem my doctor said he would fix this go-around - is definitely not there anymore. but my other issues are still there, and i feel like i've almost been going a little bit backwards. it's more painful to climb up and down the stairs than, say, two weeks ago. it's more painful to try to do a quad stretch. it's more painful to extend my knee. boo. :(

plus travel for work is going to get postponed (i chose asia, btw) because the project/implementation is not going to finish on time. so that means no taiwan in march with jean. darn. :( i'll be going... most likely in may, unless we chose to try to go live during quarter-end in april. maybe i'll change my mind to eurpoe since jean won't be there. the only person who may be there is joe... and do i really want to hear him make fun of me the entire time i'm in taiwan? :)
