perfect timing for this song to be on in my car when i switched from radio to cd. i left work very late and in a crappy mood, just feeling overwhelmed with everything i have to do, not just work-wise, but life-wise as well.

what a great reminder that i'm not bound to things of the earth - that Christ has set me free. i can't let these things bother or stress me out so much.

during sunday school this past week, we went through a lesson on the will of God. the main takeway i have from this lesson, as well as the andy stanley series my cg went through a couple of months ago is that the closer our relationship with God, the better our understanding is of His will in our lives. i need to stop questioning God why and trying to figure out His purpose for certain things in my life (like my knee), and just focus on being with God. relishing in His presence, reading more of the Word, and simplifying my life & getting back to the basics.

it was cathartic, singing the song in my car as i drove home, trying de-stress myself.

it's going to be a seriously crazy week for me, but God will get me through it.
