relief!

i don't know if it was the cortisone or the novocaine, and i don't really care because i finally have relief (even if temporary) from pain in my knee. PRAISE GOD!! i'm still slightly limping, but no need for crutches, and no burning, intense, sharp pain in my knee when i move it, walk on it, put weight on it, etc. if the relief from pain lasts longer than a day or two, then it's the cortisone that's done magic, which means there's probably something wrong inside my joint. they put in the cortisone to try to narrow down/focus where the problem is - if the cortisone works, then it's inside my joint, if the cortisone doesn't work, it's outside my joint.

i still get a slight burn/sharpness in my knee when i try to extend my knee/tighten my quad muscles, and even though it doesn't look swollen, i feel a lot of stiffness or fluid in my knee that is not normal, but again, i don't care, i'm just so relieved that i'm not in pain every second of the day.

THANKS to everyone who's been praying for me.
